Forks for 76F
« on: March 12, 2006, 10:45:53 AM »
Hello guys, I am in need of some help.  I need some measurements of the fork.  Specifically- from the bottom of the triple tree to the top of the dust seal- for a stock 1976 750F or K or A if they are the same.  I am trying to figure out if the tubes on my bike are extended or not.  Any and all help will be greatly appreciated and if they are extended, I will have a set of tubes and springs for sale if anyone is interested?

Thanks,

Clint

On my '75 750F, it is 6.25 inches from the top of the dust seal to the bottom of the lower clamp.  That is with the fork fully extended.

Thank you Ofreen :) :) :)  The measurement on my bike is 12 1/2"!!!  That is with the bike off the ground.  So if anyone wants to trade the longer tubes and springs with stock length tubes and springs I will be glad to swap.  Just send me a message if anyone is interested and wants pics.

Thanks again Ofreen,

Clint
