I know of a place that has a metal roof collapsed over several of these old cars.  The roof is intact and there is not much damage to the cars.  It will take a miracle to retrieve them from the owner who happens to be totally insane.  It is a time capsule waiting to be opened by some lucky person. :'( :'(

Does he know the value of his cars?
He is aware that there is value there and he multiplies it by about 10 when you ask him about it.  He is old and I am waiting patiently.

Flipping through those pics brought back memories. I had a pretty crappy '56 Chevy six, but one friend had a '59 Chevy convertible and another, or his parents actually, had a '57 Pontiac Chieftain. Even though it was a four-door, and the "family car" that thing was a screamer and we tested it routinely.  ::)
