Been for a ride to today :-))
« on: March 12, 2006, 11:26:03 AM »
Finally got the last bits of CB750 together, and took here out for a ride today,

Needed to do a good test ride ready for the MOT, (We have a lot of back roads here around the MOD Base).

Handles like a dream (Not a superdream either), a few flat spots that need to be ironed out, but that's just carb syncing.

In the end I had to add the F2 front end to her so she really is a CB 750 F1.2. . 95% F1 with F2 front end, including wheel, and F2 brakes, As I get the bits I slowly get here back to F1 Status and then rebuild my F2.

Imagine F1 with wire rear wheel and comstar front.

I don't think the battery is chargeing, But I've fitted an Odyssey PC310, and it could just be not enough Umphff in the regulator.

It's done more mile today than it has in 5 years.

Still a long way to go though, lots need doing to tidy her up.
