Well, It looks like I might have fallen for a scam. Purchased some Ranger playoff tickets off craigslist. Mistake #1
Talked to a girl that had 2 tics to a playoff game. Said she had to sell because she was out of town at her father's funeral.
So, like a dumbass, I took her at her word. Mistake #2
I paid her via a greendot MoneyPak card (owned by ebay & paypal) This works like cash - she is able to re-load a card she already has. Mistake #3
Anyway, I have yet to receive the tickets (e-tickets) Now I still have hope that she is just overwhelmed with family and has yet to email them to me.
I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. But the more the clock ticks away, it just seems like I might have took it in the shorts.
Is anybody able to get any personal information from an email address and a phone number ? I have actually spoken to her on the phone, so it's a working
phone number in Ohio (Ohio is where she told me she was - at her aunt's house) She said that it is her aunt's number.
I'm going to give her until 5:00pm before I post her email address and phone number.
