bike tents/sheds
« on: October 28, 2010, 12:58:26 PM »
So my landlord want to charge me to use the garage.  I don't want to pay to use the garage.  On the other hand, I don't want a whole lot.  Mostly something that will keep me warm in the winter and rain off my head the rest of the time.  There's lots of room in the driveway.  So I'm thinking I want to get something like a framed tent or temporary shed that's big enough to keep a bike inside and work on it.  Maybe run an extension chord out there from the house to set up a heater and a light.

Something like this:

or this:

Anyone have any personal experience with something like this?

Unlike you, a neighbor bought one for his bike and forgot to
properly vent it. Resulted in many rusty pieces. The lamp for
heat is a good idea.
