partsnmore.com
« on: March 16, 2006, 11:56:10 PM »
Just wondering if anyone had dealt with partsnmore.com before.  I ordered about $200 worth of parts from them last monday and they didn't get here till wednesday of this week- not really a big deal but i was shorted front brake pads for my bike.  Sent them an email and still no response from them.  I looked on their website and their is no number to call.  Has anyone else had this problem with them?  What should I do?

Thanks in advance,

clintinga

just curious... did you happen to order a wiring harness for a cb750?  if so, they don't seem to do much business as that was their latest item sold.  which was... about a week and a half ago you say?  by the way, that is not bad shipping time- AT ALL!

many places don't give phone numbers... just email and ask for one.  plus, they are probably trying to track down their f' up and will call you when they think they have it figured out... you know, benefit of the doubt.

I guess a week and a half isn't bad but my girlfriend spent 7 months in Germay last year and I sent her a package- the cheapest way possible from USPS and it was there in 7 days and she lived 4 hours from a major city.  If it were my company, I would have at least responded and said sorry for the mistake- we are looking into it.  I am not looking for an apology in any way shape or form, just need the pads, can't ride without them and no it wasn't a wiring harness.  Thanks for the advice heffay.

  I agree with heffay,
Also, some businesses aren't as personable as others and I hope we don't start
questioning businesses because of the ones like Old Bike Barn, you know. When you've ordered
something, whether you're really needing it right away or not, a person can get really anxious for the
part/s to arrive. Check it out. Later on, Bill :) ;)

He;s right about the time.  You just have to be patient.  He may be right on the lack of response as well but I don't blame you for wanting a quicker response for that.

BTW, the wiring harness isn't the lastest item sold...it is there latest item in stock...look at that link there as a "this week's specials" kind of thing.

I've bought stuff from them a few times and never had any problems.

Week and a half? I've waited 6 weeks more than enough times from various suppliers and one holds the record with a 9 week delievery.

I have used them a few times and never had an issue. As for shipping time, look at it this way. It is coming INTO the US. You how paranoid things get. They dont scan anything going out of the US only in. They are in canada. I have always had good luck with their stuff. Their signal lights look great, just like original.
