I hear ya. I posted on this, quite awhile back, because I ALSO thought it was pretty cool and MOST of the bike was the same as any R.E. 500 Single! Your posting looks like it has been updated, so I appreciate your doing it again. I hadn't kept up with it myself.
He HAD thought of making a few different sizes larger than the 1000cc too!

                                          Take care, Bill ;)

I'm still dreaming of a Vincent. Pretty cool though.

No Problem there Sam, I just like it for what it is! IF I wanted the HP. I'd just hop on the CBX (not as much hp as SOME, but does pretty good though. I just think the RE is pretty neat and I go back to when my Granddad sold the originals. I'd be more prone to try to get an Interceptor though, still be pricey though.

I agree Don, but the closest I could come to a Vincent Black Shadow (like I would like) is the one I saw at the Barber Museum. :-\

Oh Yeah, I hear ya Sam! My Dad STILL talks about the time he got to ride a Black Shadow years ago. Said the owner told it was missing. Dad took it out to check it out (at the owner's suggestion) and Dad just that and said it got up to a bit over 100 mph, alot quicker than ANYTHING he'd EVER ridden before. Didn't notice a miss though and told the guy so. That's when the guy sad, oh well it happens around 120MPH.  ;D

Closest I have found so far, was their delivery of their 1st motor back in Jan 2010. Still looking to see if I can find any more. When I 1st found this a little while back, I sent him an email inquiring and expressing my interest i n this venture and he responded nicely, thanking me and assuring me that he had high hopes (not his words) of seeing this through.  ;) Personally, I hope it works out, as I think it is a cool project. ?Though, it seems pretty unlikely, since it isn't "Out There", ya know?  ???
