Thanks Jerry.

The front wheel is a different story.
It has really pitted aluminium. I'm going to try 180 to start with tonight and see how that goes.

Yeah, I love that look, but I am shooting for the restored $100.00 per year insurance plates.

I already have 2 bikes that cost $800.00 per year. caching$$$$

Went to the local Island garage today with my 3 brake discs to see if they could turn them for me, Oh ya!

They were a mess but they were able to sort me out 8)

I asked what do I owe you?      Put something in the SPCA tin was the answer, $30.00 later all 3 disks are good to go and some animals are happy ;)

Hmm looks like moving those upper shock mount points on those old Zuki's is a common mod then, RR?

Seaweb, where abouts are those shots from?  Beautiful.

Do you mean where on the planet, or what side of Gabriola Island>?

Beautiful shots Derek.
FB, i have studied many older type race bikes, mainly superbike type's and lots of them have altered shock mounts.
Yoshi spent lots of time working out where the shocks worked best on their bikes....
Sorry for the hijack Derek.... ;)

Who says you can't turn #$%* into gold?
It always amazes me what you can do with many hours of prep and paint.

Coming along quite nicely!
Don't you love that massive 8" headlight? It's super bright, too.

I see you keep your golf clubs handy. Good man!  :)

Went to town today and had the rear tire put back on wheel and picked up some parts that had come in for me as well as fork oil, brake fluid, engine oil, and a new die grinder for that frickin front wheel.

Came home, and my new 4-2 Mac exhaust and O-ring kit for the carbs had been delivered.
Already installed the new oil filter with new nuts and washers.

It was a good bike day. ;D

Rear brakes new shocks and all the rear end all sorted and functioning ;D  I think :-\
Filled the fork oil and tightened up the front end today as well.

Received new breather cover as well, just ordered a new gasket.
Proof that a bit every day makes a bike ;D
