Awesome and cavernous.  I think I saw some guano in there though.  You'd better get that bat problem under control or hook those things up to your engine.

Is this what he calls a stage III? How to do the setup for holes that big?

What are your other plans for this engine?
-what cam?
-what big-bore kit?
-what carbs?

Looks like a great start to a monster engine if the other components are in place.

He does do great work. The whole head is beautiful from every angle, I almost feel bad putting it on the bike, haha.

Right now (because I'm consistently out of cash and I need to work on the rest of the bike....), nothing else is going too crazy. I'm using stock 629b carbs with a 650 cam (this is a 500, btw). When I can afford it (probably not til 6 months from now...), or find a good deal, CR29s will go on, probably move to a webcam grind after that. The rest of the engine has otherwise been totally rebuilt, I've also had the transmission undercut and am rerouting the oil lines externally. Not exactly go-fast mods, but good stuff nonetheless.

Big bore is the last thing I intend on pursuing. I want to see what I can make 500cc do first :-p
