450 right side switch swap
« on: October 31, 2010, 04:28:10 PM »
I found a right side switch that has a brake cable mount so I assume it's from a smaller 450? bike. It looks the same, can I swap the top half to my 70 K0 control?

There were a few different models with the controls, but many of them fit between the years and models.  However, as long as the switches look similar, you should be okay.

Can I get the starter button and the little metal bracket from that lower piece?  If so, then PM me and I'll send you my addy and some cash.

The starter button has been scored by the previous owner, sorry. I have used a horn button. I was wondering if there are any wiring differences but that will be easy enough to tell when the bike is all apart.
