Hi from SoCal
« on: October 16, 2010, 11:27:51 AM »
Hi there! I am from Orange County. I am currently looking to get info on a 73 CB500 with a Velorex sidecar for $2600. I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into and also to learn more about the CB500. I was wondering if the CB500 is a pretty easy bike to work on if needed. I have to say I'm ok with my mechanic skills just as long as I have a step by step plan to follow. Thanks for reading!

Yes, they are pretty easy and there are lots of Manuals around. There is one put out by HondaMan here on the forums. Hondaman is truly the man. It maybe possible he knows more about these CB/4s more then Honda its self..

Here is his book..info.. Its mostly for CB750s however there is lots there for the smaller cousins.
