Fork Boots on '77 CB750

I'm noticing that '77 CB750K's don't have fork boots (gaiters?).  Can they be added?

If your talking about a K model yes, F model no. The K uses the same lower design as the older models but you'll probably have to get some top caps (the things that keep the rubber from just floppin' around on the top - below the tree) or make something . The F (super sport) used a different design in 77 and 78. Check the '76 out - http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb750k-750-four-k-1976-usa_model494/partslist/F++07.html . Look at the part labelled #17 to see what I mean. Then compare to this (77) http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb750k7-four-usa_model14395/partslist/F07.html. The problem won't be the forks, it'll be the different fork ear design. The newer one doesn't have a lip to stretch the rubber gator over. Shouldn't be a big deal to fabricate sumthin though.
