I'm riding my 750 down to Florida with my Cab Dragon strapped to the panniers for a Skatemototacular event November 12, 13, 14. Anyone else going?

My board was a Bruce Logan earth ski all oak with acs-651 trucks and sims pure juice right when they came out with the green wheels and German racing bearings. I think I bought it in 1977.
Thats the only board I have ever owned and still looks great.

My favorite ramp board was a full size Tony Magnusson with cross-bones and Indy trucks.

LOL! I do skate for Team Geritol, so I know where you are coming from

I don't "beer skate" anymore so that should help too.

9 hour ride to Daytona, skate, sleep on the ground, ride to Jacksonville, skate, sleep on the ground, ride to the drags in Valdosta, spectate, ride home 8 hours to get back to Charlotte late Sunday night. I'm sore from thinking about it but STOKED!!!

Skated for 24 years but horked up the ligament holding my pinky toe to the rest of my foot this summer. It hurts like a #$%* when I skate and is sore as hell afterwards. It's my first real injury and I always pushed it so i have decide to just call it good and move on.

I was making longboards a couple summers ago. This is one that was in a gallery show last September...didnt sell

I dont Skate but this was me yesterday at the Skatepark. Its only 15 min.off I-95 in SC. Free.They just built it last march. I was just pulling it together from a 1080 tailwhip

I spent the better part of my youth on a skateboard. Grew up watching all the old school pros like the original Bones Brigade. I wasn't much of a vert skater just because there was no ramps in my area. I drive around today and pass park after park. Man what I would have done to have parks available like that when I skated everyday! Skaters today have it made, they have no idea.

Pics of my board. Santa Cruz deck that I bought in '78 in SLO, Sim's Pure Juice "Bowl Riders", and Bennett Pro trucks, that I bought a couple of years before that in SM. We skated in cement culverts back then!

Here is a video of Kona with some guys I skated with in Nashville (there is a great Wally Holiday park near Opry Mills now). These guys are still pulling the same stale boneless and inverts they did back then

Definitely skating up here in CT, though it just snowed. putting the bike in the garage for some major overhauling. always ride my bike to the park when i could. wish i could get some florida weather in me, work prohibits me right now!

Yup, that photo is actually a couple years old but I figured this crowd would be more down with pool skating than jumping down stairs...
