CB550 Boring out stock carbs?
« on: November 04, 2010, 12:14:45 PM »
It's just a thought, but I had a friend who use to bore out single carbs by 2-3mm on small displacement motors.

I don't have a extra set of carbs, but was wondering what you guys thought about the idea.

Do you think there's enough room to bore the intake diameter on the carb body?

There's a guy who offers the service on the services offered page. He mentions before/after throat diametres and I believe does 500/550's and 400's right now though I remember seeing some talk about early 750 carbs as well. There should be a link to his site there.
