That tie was between HedNut and Squirley.

Time to find another method, darn.

I had a 3 way tie between headnut squirley and godffrey so I just wrote their names on paper and taped them to a fan. I turned on the fan and the last one still taped to it got my vote.

godffrey

That is a great way to break a tie, lol.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Just goes to show how awesome Godffrey's bike is - just writing the name on a piece of paper gives it supernatural fan-holding powers!

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Mrs. Crip: What the hell are you doing on that step ladder under the fan?

Here are some pics hosted for Godffery (click for bigger):

Does anybody have more info on this bike? I love the monoshock idea. And ya this is a tough vote! There are some amazing bikes!

Wow. Been a fan of custom bikes as long as I can remember. Grew up around choppers, but fell in love with racers when I started riding...never gave stockers much mind, but when they look better than they did on the dealer floor??  Myhondas bike on the mirror..wow...a perfectly spotless clean underside is hard to argue with. I've actually touched Paul's bike, maybe some of it's energy rubbed off on me   :D ..but Cqyqte's takes me right back to my childhood. Gonna have to spend a long time looking at the pics trying to decide if I can decide or not. Furthermore...having watched all the BOTM threads, there are a whole lot of equally qualified machines out there that didn't make it this far, simply because you just can't vote for all of them. My hat's off to ALL of you, finalists and previous "competitors".. and my thanks for the inspiration.  I'm in for a couple calendars...

You'll see for yourself in the build thread, but that's actually not a monoshock, there are two of them there.

Aaaahhhh!!!  No offense to any other bikes here, they are all amazing, but I just narrowed my choices to bikes that wear Frankenparts.... ;)  still a tough choice between the two with Frankenpointscovers... any of them have Frankensidecovers? Looks like TT, TIA, MH, and HN are the only possibles...

In this awesome group of bikes, there is very little chance that a stocker will win, but I decided that I would finally get around to making a video of the bike.

Here she is in the driveway .....

Myhondas!  I have nothing but respect for the stockers.... a beautiful bike in all aspects!  Excellent video by the way!!  Thanks for the ride!  Definate points for those!

And now.... this magnificent shot of the hole the PO blew in the wall of the beasts stable (it's where I keep all the horses).......OUI.

The stockers are not out of my sights on this vote.  I still have not decided.

Keep dropping the pics in through the month y'all.  It does help and it may be what turns that one persons vote (the undecided and late comers) your way.  I have seen it happen, promise!

Unfortunatley a harddrive failure claimed most of my build pictures, here are a couple that I still have on file.

What I started with: Took a 550 frame and redid the geometry and welded on some new rear set tubes.

By squirley at 2010-11-15

Gettin the front end set up and trying out the fittment.

It's a roller...

By squirley at 2010-11-15

Fitting on the newly welded tank and fiberglass seat:

Decided to go with a LED taillight so in the back of the seat and made it flush mount.

And lastly, some videos of it in progress...
