Thanks all, I built the bike; The frame is powder coated, the transmission is undercut, the head has a five angle CNC valve job, I ported the head and used a CB650 cam. The carbs are from a CB750 and the cylinders are from a CB550 with the maximum over bore pistons. What I need is a good period exhaust like a Yosh or Kerker but can’t find one. JIM

I dunno I like the oem 4 to 4 exhaust, nothing looks better. What fork set up did you use and how come no fender?

Nice bike, i would stay with the stock pipes ,they flow well and look great on your bike. There is a group buy going on here for Yoshi pipes, being custom made by an ex Yoshi engineer.
There are a lot of very quick 750's here, some with over 90-100 HP.... ;D ;)

Duanob: I agree that the pipes look great but I want to put them on my other 500...the fork is stock with chrome tops I have a Telifix fork brace and I am still working on a fender that will work with it.

Dave 500: The bike has electronic ignition and Dyna coils, clutch is Barnett, the steering neck has tapered roller bearings and the wheels are both 18 inch aluminum rims with heavy duty stainless steel spokes.

Mick: My 500 is quicker than a stock 750 (I had a '69 KO which I base the comparison on which I should not have sold but I wanted a Z1 so I let it go in 1975). What is the scoop on the Yosh pipes? JIM
