OK folks. Thanks goes out to all of you who helped me thru this mess
I completed getting the front brake system bled, moved the line to a more appropriate place for now, cleaned out the MC and cleaned off the entire innards of the caliper. Replaced piston seal, sanded down the pitting on the piston, and stuck her all back together. Put new fluid in, got it running out the bleeder, and then got all the air bubbles out.
Of course then, on the high from completing that, I decided to mess with the clutch adjustment, and not sure if i got that worse!!! That's for another post...
What a long, strange trip.
Any thoughts on how best to test the new set-up? Obviously, I will take her someplace abandoned (not likely in NYC!) and test the brakes at very slow speed. But anything else? Any special tricks???
Thanks again!
Scott
