I think its got to be a test to prove that for every object there is a buyer ... in some cases sucker.

My father-in-law use to own a salvage and demolition business ... he said everything has a price and there is a buyer out there for everything.  One time an soldier saw an old wooden spoon on the floor ... asked how much ... the soldier left with spoon in his sock feet and my father-in-law had a pair of army boots. True story, I was there.

Blurb on that bike builder Shinya Kimura, and some photos of his bikes; apparently he has a shop in Azusa, CA.
I think these peope are serious about this 'sh!t ' ;)
'
"Kimura spends around four months creating each of his "old-school choppers," often building almost everything, from the engine to the transmission, and even the wheels, from scratch, using junk metal and salvaged parts."

""Hoon," which Kimura built around a Honda Cub as a jab at the safe image of what has been a common ride for Japanese postal deliverymen since the 1960s."

DO IT!!!  You could have a tall sissy bar in the back, maybe raise up the headlight bucket and turn it into dragon head carving, make some custom fairings and give it a look similar to a viking drekar!

Here's a helmet to go with it.  Here's a couple of ideas for something to go with the "Bear Can" also.

Shinya's bikes were featured in some magazine awhile back, I think it was Cycle World.  His "works" were not symmetrical either and I do believe Brad Pitt bought one of Shinya's bikes for big bucks.

Well give this e-bayer credit for trying to make a buck.

So I emailed the seller the other day....

"That is one seriously beautiful work of art! Did I see this at the Guggenheim during the 'Art of the Motorcycle' exhibit?"

I got his response today...
