Topic: SOHC forums on Android/iOS Mobile Devices - Who owns these forums?!

Hi all,

If there are any other nerds in the house (and I know there is), you might be interested in using Tapatalk http://www.tapatalk.com/ to access these forums properly from a mobile device such as an iPod, iPad or Android powered phone. The only problem is, this forum has to be registered by the forum owner at http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin.php in order for Tapatalk to access it. Registration is free.

Anyone else interested in getting an admin to add the SOHC forums to Tapatalk? Who would I DM to discuss?

  we definitely need to do this, my gf just got an android phone (which means that im probably going to get one soon) and i was not able to get into the forums from it, i was able to log on and get to the home page but that was it

I can do OK from my I phone but it gets a little glitchy and locks up sometimes. when my posts are missing words or incomplete it most likely came from my phone

the first time I logged on with my phone after the mod was added a pop up came up and asked if I wanted the talktap app. It cost 2.99 I added it, the verdict is still out, I am a little slow accepting change

I just got my first Droid a month or so ago, and I love it.  I switched over from Blackbeery mainly for the HTML browser, but also for the appps.  So far I have had no problem navigating the site through the browser.  I checked out the Tapatalk app, but I think I like the browser better.

There is a tapatalk client for the iPhone.  The free read-only client isn't available right now, but the regular client is only 2 or 3 bucks.

Yeah, Tapatalk is not bad but I'd rather access from my laptop. Also I find it tends to crash when accessing the SOHC/4 tech forum, prolly just during to the epic amount of data its trying to process. :-) Either way its still better than shrink/magnify/repeat when viewing in my mobile browser.
