The Ultimate Blonde

She was Soooooooo Blonde. . .
* She thought a quarterback was a refund.

* She thought General Motors was in the army.

* She thought Meow Mix was a CD for cats.

* She thought Boyz II Men was a day care center.

* At the bottom of an application where it says "Sign here:" she wrote "Sagittarius."

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She took the ruler to bed to see how long she slept.

* She sent a fax with a stamp on it.

* Under "education" on her job application, she put "Hooked On Phonics."

She was Sooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She tripped over a cordless phone.

* She spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

* She told me to meet her at the corner of "WALK" and "DON'T WALK."

* She tried to put M&M's in alphabetical order.

She was Soooooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She studied for a blood test.

* She sold the car for gas money.

* When she missed bus #44 she took bus #22 twice instead.

* When she went to the airport and saw a sign that said, "Airport Left," she turned around and went home.

She Was Sooooooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* When she heard that 90% of all crimes occur around the home, she moved.

 * She thought if she spoke her mind, she'd be speechless.

* She thought that she could not use her AM radio in the evening.

* She had a shirt that said "TGIF," which she thought stood for "This Goes In Front."

AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE:

She is sooooooooooooooooo Blonde...

She thinks Taco Bell is the Mexican phone company.

Hey Fuzzy..

Most of your jokes are good.  I find myself often chuckling @ them.  Was wondering though (partly because you seem to keep cranking these things out)..are you thinking these things up yourself? Or getting them somewhere else?  If it's the latter..then I'm wondering if you're smoking something funny @ times?  Just reminds me of those days in the late 60's..70's when it seemed we all did that (and you & I are about the same ages)..and that sort of stuff just seemed to keep coming out.

Just wondering.  As said..I enjoy most of your stuff.  But this just got me to wondering.  Care to reply?

Thanks,

Ichi

Hey Fuzz..

I'm a Viet Nam vet too.  Only wasn't on the ground.  Mainly fixing-up the jarheads (was a Navy medic) that they brought to us either shipboard..or back in the States @ Naval hospital.  Was involved from '64 thru '68..and the God awful Tet Offensive..if you happen to remember that.

Don't know about you..but I'd say that over 50% of us were smoking pot @ the time. Some..doing much harder stuff than that..but I personally couldn't handle that..then. After I got discharged from active duty in '68..I'd seen enough of that stuff.  Tried-out the Hippie scene after that..which I'm glad I did..as it allowed me to balance the macho BS that I'd experienced in the military. But would have to say that I was only a half-A Hippie.

Guess we all had/have to cope/readjust in our own ways..after experiencing something like Viet Nam.  Your humorous stuff..seems as good a way as any..I guess.  I feel sorry for the guys/gals nowadays..that seem to be paying for a lot of the same political mistakes that got us into Nam.  Seems one thing to go fight for your country..another to go die for the political BS of a bunch of bureaucrats.  My sentiments anyway.  Please keep the jokes a coming..

As a Brit I didnt serve but was on a tanker delivering Liquid Propane(400 ton) and bitumen(4,000 ton) to Saigon in 75 on a regular basis, the local army were not the best and the VC were getting far too accurate with rockets by then
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
