Gauge Interchangeability
« on: November 23, 2010, 03:27:33 PM »
The topic says it all. I have a 1970 CB750 and would like to know which gauges will work as replacements. I may want to go with smaller gauges. I will probably be taking them apart and installing lights.

Discuss.

Are you asking about aftermarket gauges (smaller) or do you want to know what other years/models will work on your bike?
It took 10 years but she's finally done!

Great!   :P

I don't know squat about aftermarkets, although some folks on here have used them.  Here is an example:  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=30793.0

I do know that the bracket AND gauges changed in '72 (someone correct me if I'm wrong on the year) - the way they mount is completely different.

It took 10 years but she's finally done!
