FWIW,

Fabricator and myself use braided VW fuel line.  The stuff they used on the air cooled motors, I think it's 5 or 5.5mm.  It fits so well that there is no need for clamps, and the only ways to get it off is to cut it or dab a little gas on the outside and it will release.  We get our line from a local VW resto shop.

Yeah sure no problem.  I have my CL350 here, and I used the same line on it too.  I'll post em tomorrow.
