I bought a 1976 International Scout II (when I was 20) The owner told me that they "stopped making them because they never broke down" The frigging thing would backfire so bad the whole muffler got distorted. I loved that truck. :'(

Seller was confused with the International Cub Cadet lawn tractor.  They never break down....... :)

My buds neighbor had one I think was from the 1920s, started up and ran like new, I don't think it was ever restored or anything.

This one is a Chicago craigslist "Classic". Its been on and flagged off of craigslist at least 100 times int the last 3 years.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130463568017#ht_10022wt_1282
82 Honda CBX
1982 Honda CBX! Pearl White Altair; bare bike
Buy it now or it's getting chopped into little pieces and sold on ebay; there you flucking flaggots can't touch it, and I'll double my money!!!  Hahahahhahaahh.

I'm looking at a $350 tank reconstruct and a $650 paint job and frankly, there's too damned many punk kids driving around in 2 ton cages texting to risk my pretty ass on a bike anymore.

1982 Honda CBX (if you don't know what it is you don't want it!). DG 6:1 exhaust. New: Tires Bridgestone 100/90x19 front and 130/90x18 rear, complete tuneup, including six-carb clean and sync, valve adjustment, oil, filter, air filter, all brakes rebuilt completely including new rubber kits, master cylinder kits, fluid reservoirs. Bare bike. New DieHard battery. No fairing, no bags, no brackets. 31,000 miles. Pearl white Altair. Not a perfect bike, but a good rider or restorer.

Fresnly cleaned and sync'd carbs, tuneup, oil change, 24-valve adjustment, etc. I will provide receipts for this. The bike is not perfect, I think that's clear, but it's a good one to ride or fix up the way you want it.

Firm at $2900. E-me for pics. Check it out on eBay.

This is a good bike to restore the way you want it. Why are ya waiting?

That's a good one, Pete!  He's firm at $2900 and says he could double his money parting it out?  I don't know any bike that you could part out for $5800 other than MAYBE a MINT sandcast or a MINT pre-war Harley Davidson.  Dream big, buddy!

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

First off he say's this....

"There "NOTHING" wrong with this bike, I just need to pay my bills and the wife says it has to go!! MY loss is your gain".

Then this...

I might consider a trade, but it would have to be a good one, cause I really need the $$$$$$

Does the wife demanding he get rid of it, know that he's willing to drag something home in it's place?  ::) ::) ;D

From CL today:

Currently it is not starting, due to faulty coils; the spark is just weak.

The work that has been done to this bike greatly outweighs the asking price.

Selling it for a friend who can't find the title. He'll look for it and send it to you. No it was never titled in MS. He had it titled in Iowa. But you can always get a bonded title.

Chug-a-lug chug-a-lug!! straight outta CL....

1984 kawasaki zn 700 LTD - $225 (n portland)

"bestfriend gave it to me since they moved they said it had 1200 miles on it , all i know it did work when lil bro started it up but my lil bro started it up with a car battery so now it will not start back up so it could be the stater or coil i dont know, i have the key and the TITLE in hand. it has no battery with it If it did start up i would of sold it for 475 but since i have no money to fix it i have to sell it cheaper. the mirror glass on one is broken the other is ok the headlight is ok but the thing it sits in is broken but everything else is fine on it,you can use it as a project bike, need to sell asap im selling it for 225 no less and will not take trades or paypal"

actually doesn't look too bad in the pics...

"Never been dropped."

I enjoy seeing the cousin of the never been dropped line, "Dropped by previous owner"  I see that way too often when looking around for bikes.  Seems current owners never drop em, just the previous owner.
