Just bought a motor from a 72 CB500.

Seller, "Well is ran when it was in the bike."
Me, "When was that?"
Seller, "I don't know."

Not a word, but a smirk on his face as he turned away! He did not tell all, the exhaust was plugged and it had a stuck valve. Would not start. A 750 K0 with Lesters and a jardine header with an 812 kit. Yep he got me all right!

not exactly the last words but on the phone he told me, "yeah, you could drive it home," before i drove 2 hours to pick it up.

It had a stuck front brake, bent handlebars, bad fuel lines, bad carb boots and wouldn't start, no turn signals, bad tires, too much oil and the list went on. My dumb ass bought it anyway for 350.00. And now it runs!!

I bought a bike from a guy in Arizona with a New York title while I was living in Illinois.  I thought this would defenitely not fly.  Title came in the mail a few weeks later.  Sometimes you get surprised!

I purchased mine here in MS from a guy that had it registered in Indiana. No problems.
