What the heck were you thinking? And you need to get a refund from whoever told you that you were mechanically inclined!

So I don't own the bike yet but I do have a 76 750K coming to me in the future. It has 40k miles, crash bars, king/queen seat and did sport a fairing at some point.

I'd like to ask them if they took any big trips on the bike and where they went.

My 350f only had 6k miles when my dad got it. I'm resonably sure it's never been out of the state (yet).

My questions would be pretty much along these lines, and what kind of riding style was he all about whn he was riding it, touring, drag racing, street riding, lots of highway?

And if he had any pictures of the bike from before he 'customized' it...

Questions I would ask of the POs PO. LAst PO of the 500 never got it on the road.
How did you shift with a broken clutch lifter rod?
Why is the orange permatex in the float bowls and and jets?
Why isn't the muffler completely on?
Have you noticed that 3 float bowls overflow.
Where is the airbox?
Did you notice the clutch cable is not made for this bike?
Why are the wires not connected to other wires of the same color?

Why did you decide to run pod filters?

We spent 5 minutes with the engine cranking off of a battery charger before it would even fire. After that it would stall if you gave it any gas.
