i went IKONs on my cb550. compared to stock - new definition to shock absorbing for $400 shipped and customized for my weight. i once hit a pot hole and my body caught air with out the bike. luckily, i landed back on the bike and kept riding. ended up with a bent rear rim coz the stocks bottomed out. in my opinion, motorcycle shocks are not something to cheap out on just like you shouldn't on a helmet. safety first then style points.
