Front fender question
« on: June 10, 2020, 11:27:20 AM »
Hello all,
I am in need of a front fender.  The bike does not have one currently.  I wanted a bobbed fender and was wondering if you guys can recommend one from somewhere or do I have to get an original one and cut it?  I am going to paint it black as well.  Bike is a 1978 cb550k.

Thanks for any help.

If you dont use the original you need to fit a brace. Centre section of original is strengthened to stop forks flexing

Ok......darn.  I will look at the parts houses then.  Those front fenders are expensive!

If you want to bob it anyhow you could look for one with a little end damage.

Yup.....been looking.  This is my first try at buying major parts for this thing.  Front fender is not cheap!  I will find something hopefully.
