If I ever stopped riding mine, I would do everyting you said, plu a cover if stored outside.
For myself, I put a fresh aplication of knikwax on the gear, put the liner in the jacket, make sure overpants still fit, antifog in the helmet and I'm ready to go.

I don't do anything to any of our bikes (3 running) other than I'll put the charger on them about once a month and I'll open the garage door and start them.

For whatever its worth when asking a similar question about over-winter boat storage a few years ago on a popular web boat-lover's site a Chem E. from Chevron responded and told us all that stabilizer really wasn't necessary unless you intended to store the fuel for a year or more.  I still treated mine anyway because it was cheap to do (about $10 to stabilize 150 gallons of gas).

Some weird thing I do are like shooting a bunch of fogging oil in each muffler. I also use fogging oil in each cylinder. It's cheap insurance. I drain each float bowl. I also am in the minority here as I dump all the gas out of my tank and put it in the car. I let the tank dry and spray the whole inside with the fogging oil. My bike moves into my family room for the winter. Cold in the garage in frigid Iowa. The wife is very good about this bringing inside. This was my only prenep request. Dan

I always drain the carbs and then remove the tank and drain it.  Let it vent for a few days with the cap open and store in the basement with a coating of tranny fluid/2 cycle oil inside.  Put the gas in the car.  Been doing it for 30 years and have never had a corrosion problem with my tanks.

Fogging oil is as it's name an oil that sprays in and kinda fogs and coats the surfaces with corrosion protecting oil. Dan
