Brother Oddjob parts of the engravings are from our family crests and I have the matching shields that I am going to engrave into the fork lowers as well. I did the engravings to honor my family so I really like your idea!

I love that you all are sharing your ideas for names of this project and individual parts!

Just thought I'd post these pics of my first attempt at polishing, came out rather nice I think. The fork leg is one off a Honda Cb1300 and comes with a very rough like sandcast finish, it was extremely hard work getting it completely flat but the results are well worth the effort

LOL not jacking the thread just wanted Joeys opinion as he's the professional at polishing. Maybe he could spot a few pointers but either way it was also to say thanks to Joey for his advice which was gratefully recieved.

Whoa! I just came across this one. The thing that REALLY got my interest was the look of that engine, with those colors and the engraving. Then I realized that there was some wold engine work to be done and I read quite a bit about the whole thing, but kinda got lost with all the stuff about "Reverse Ports" and I'm definitely not taking anything away from all of the work done on this, but I was totally impressed with the look and all, even w/o the Reversed Ports. All said and done, it's each individual's ideas and efforts towards those ideas, that produce the really wild and Awesome builds, IMHO. I WILL be interested in seeing how this one turns out, in Looks & How it performs. It just never ceases to amaze me at the Knowledge, skills and abilities of folks here and I have been around here for quite along time.
