Topic: CB550 float bowl screw size?

Hello,

Does anyone know what size the float bowl screws are for the 022A cb550 carbs are?

Z1 has a few different sizes

I don't know but I can tell you that earlier this week when I was rebuilding my carbs (46A's) I just went to the local hardware store and got the stainless button-head allen head screws for the carb's tops and bottoms.  I think they ran me something like $8 with lock washers.  All I can remember is the tops were 3mm.

That makes more sense...I'll stop in and check the local mom and pop shop

I did the same thing, I just brought one of the old screws with me to the hardware store and matched up the threads, diameter and length.

No but I'll bet Ace Hardware does and for a lot cheaper than Z1 would.
