Cycle X
« on: May 06, 2010, 04:43:16 PM »
Hello,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name Jake, and I am the new office manager for Cycle X. I will make this short here, I don't know #$%* about motorcycles but I know shipping/receiving and payments. Starting May 13th, I will be in the shop full time to take over the logistics processing (Sue will still be here as well). So any orders, or questions about orders you can direct them towards me. I am excited to bring in new ideas for the shop including customized invoices with personalized messages, instant tracking numbers for your shipments, a top of the line inventory system and even working in forums to help make your Cycle X experience a pleasant one. Keep a look out for our new product posts so you have up to date information on what new, innovative products we are bringing to the motorcycle industry. It's great to see all of the Cycle X customers that support us on a day to day basis, and hopefully those who have had a rougher experience with us, we can work to smooth that over for you. Thank you for your time, I look forward to continue providing you with top quality customer service.

Jake

Welcome Jake.  I've ordered from CyX before and was very pleased.

One thing I hope doesn't change; Becky and Sue have worked with me in a way some other places refused to.  I have a $500/day limit on my debit card, and Cycle X has worked with me on purchases over $500 by taking $500 the first day, and the remainder on the second.  I hope you still allow this in the future, otherwise it's a big hassle for guys like me.

Thanks.  And thanks for the introduction.

P.S.  I got my eye on that kick-only electrical system.   ;)

hi jake,
glad your here, ive got a ton of cycle x parts and work in my recently finished project and i couldnt be happier
ken and sue are good people, ive never had any problems with communication or customer service with them, but it seems like maybe the business is growing too big for them to handle everything themselves (thats a good thing)

Hey everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Is there anything that I can help any of you with now?

Also I'd like to ask you all a few questions...

What would you like to see Cycle X do for you all in the future?
Also, what products would you all like to see on Cycle X?

Let me know!

Manufacture discontinued parts from the CB bikes?

That would be a good start.

Hey Jake, I think we've spoken on the phone... welcome aboard.  Never had a problem dealing with Ken and his crew!  It's sometimes difficult to get a hold of Ken but I've always seen that as a good thing.  If he was standing around waiting to talk on the phone I'd be worried that the business was heading in the dumper.

Being up here in Canada we're a little out of the ways for tech support and overnight shipments.  If you personally are going to be a pipeline to Ken for technical questions that would be excellent.  I'm not expecting you to have the answers, but if you could ask the questions and get the answers for us, that would be equally as good.

By the way tell Ken, thanks for the shaped intake boots, they did the trick.  I've been able to get real close on tuning the beast.  Still having a minor issue with fouling on the inner two plugs but I'm going to try a one step hotter plug in those cylinders.

i love ur stuff... but your site is confusing and outdated....... i have terrible time trying to find stuff..... the stuff on your brit page could work on the 750's  i dont really understand why you have a 750 and a 750 cafe seperation... then some engine stuff else where......like if i were to click on the honda 750 the page opens up with all of your catagories and a bunch of random things hidden down below.... maybe i just dont understand the organization
and then i called about when u were gonna get new stock forks and u had em! but i wonder how much business u had lost when people looked and saw out of stock and didnt order them...... like i said i love your stuff... your site just needs updated

I have to agree with this.  It is a little tough finding stuff.

I'm currently wanting a part, and this part is shown in two places on the same page.  Except one says 'out of stock' and the other appears as if I can order it.  I'm stalling on ordering it because I'm not sure if you have it.  (It's the fork gaiters, by the way - I emailed you about them a while back).

It seems to me that I missed out on a few of these posts...I am sorry!!!! I've looked at all of these with Ken and it seems that a lot of these aren't off too far off the wayside, a lot of what happened back in June till now is being corrected...we have a catalog on the way and some parts in the midst...we also have our own forum (don't know if I'm allowed to say that or not)...www.cyclex.yuku.com...whoops hahaha (it has a motor raffle going now) thanks guys for your support and comments.
