newbie from tennessee
« on: November 28, 2010, 06:20:18 pm »
Hello, I have been reading the forum here for a couple of months, got hooked by Doug's silver cafe bike build. Originally i was looking for a
Cb750, but ended up finding a "deal" on a 76 cb550k. When i bought it, the carbs were off the bike completely taken apart and in the bottom of box. Through the resources i found here, i was able to get them rebuilt back together and got the bike running. Thanks so much for everyone posting their experiences and expertise. I have been riding some just making sure that everything works okay before i tear it down for a complete rebuild and restore. I would like to go with a mild cafe look, but not sure how far i want to go with it. Thanks again.
