78' SS rearsets? replacement?
« on: October 08, 2010, 05:43:13 AM »
I've got a 78' 750 SS and one thing that i cant stand about my frame is the f/r peg brackets on this model.  I'd like to get a set of rearsets and have searched and searched for them but to no luck.  Fabricating something is a possibility but if i could get around it i would.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Or some pics of what you or someone else has done, just to get some ideas brewing.  Thanks

search for rearsets for a 1981 Cb900F.  they have the same big ol hunk of aluminum as rear peg mounts.

I've got the Tarozzis from fastfromthepast.com on my 76. I didn't see one listed for your bike but it might be worth a phone call.
So much to do, so little time.

You can drill and file, and remove a lot of the stock braket leaving the ribs for a neat look, more will come off left side, than the right..

R6 rear sets, just weld on some brackets.
