Howdy!
« on: November 29, 2010, 09:17:51 PM »
Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm originally from Texas but I've been vacationing in Colorado area for a little over 5 years now.  I don't have a bike yet but I'm starting to look.  I'm leaning towards the 750's for the extra hp at altitude plus I'm not a small guy.  I'm very much a DIY'er and I've got to say that this has to be one of the best DIY sites I've ever come across.  You guys are doing a fantastic job here!  Hopefully I will find a bike within the next few months and then start a project thread of my own to contribute to this great site.  I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you fine folks.

Well, I call it a vacation because I still consider Texas as my home.

I was born and raised in the piney woods of east Texas, the Tyler-Longview area.  Thanks for the warm welcome!
