Car for sale in the New England area?
« on: November 29, 2010, 10:06:07 AM »

I plan on riding to work throughout the Boston winter (30 min each way) but need a car for those snowy days. Looking for something like a VW Jetta or Golf (manual) or similar....anyone in the New England area have a running car (with no real issues) that they were thinking of selling? Let me know! Dosent have to to be pretty but needs to run and be fairly reliable. Plan to sell it in March when snow has gone so its not a keeper. Cash in hand ;).

cheers
Andy

Last winter I rode the VStrom all winter with no issues. Coldest it got was 15F which was just about bearable for a 40 min ride to Ashland with no heated gear  ;). This time its a new job so riding from Roslindale to Waltham (30 min) which shouldnt be too bad. Just need the car for those snow days.

cheers
