Topic: ID this ignition (CB400F)?

Hi all,

I'm chasing some electrical gremlins in a CB400F and have been going through my bike with a wiring diagram.

The wiring diagram shows a blue wire and a yellow wire going from the points to the coils and a black/white wire leaving the coils.  My bike also has a black wire from under the points cover which is joined to the black/white wire.

I assume this is part of some type of non-points ignition system (see pic). 

1. Can anyone ID the system for me?
2. Is the extras black wire correct?

Another Prestolite ignition, they seem to be coming out of hiding lately..

The black wire should go to a switched 12 volt source. (Which is a black/white wire on my CB750F). Can also be hooked up to the tail light wire.
