SO did some one buy this or not? If not what the heck is the hold up? The wheels alone will bring $500+ all day long. We all know it takes hardley anything to get these up and running again. If that was on Ebay it would go in a heart beat, probably to my house...

I know there is alot of interest with the fairing on this imitation Imola and I was looking at differant sites for fairing. Here's a site that has quite a bit of stuff for CB750'S

That's the first one that I've seen that says it is "versatile". Most say 750 only.

Do all the 550's with fairings use 750 fairings, or are there 550 specific?

OEM is specific but with aftermarket anything is possible.

when I was reading it it seemed like it was posted just to get a rise out of a few people, and it seemed to have worked in that respect. But to point something out I did notice that a lot of the time when justme posted kingcustom posted within minutes.... lol I have no doubts that the bike is/was real, there are pics. I am curious after reading if/what it sold for if it was actually on the chopping block.

All joking aside, it was a nice looking bike, I hope someone who will do something with it got it. I also cant believe no one mentioned buying it and just swapping everything over to a titled US frame... Seems like a no brainer.

The price was never right. If you notice the price always seems to be really low but it is never actually for sale for that low price. At one point she said she would sell it for $800 but again it never was for sale at that price. The entire thread seemed to me to be a red herring to inflate the price of the bike. She really took offense to my posts (srook) about the title issues because it could potentially lower the price of the bike but others who were much tougher on her than I was, she just laughed it off. Her membership is still active PM her as it may then show up in her email address and you may get a response.
