Update: she finally responded to my PM. Still has the bike, it's in the shed. Doesnt know the value and said its hard to sell that way. Told her I am interested.

It is worth exactly what the highest bidder is willing to pay and not a cent more, it seems to me, 1.)she don't really need the money and its not eating anything sitting in the shed, 2.) she is attached to it for what ever reason or, 3.) she is just greedy, at any rate I don't think she will be happy with the out come.

She is a woman whose husband was given the motorcycle.

Never saw the ad, was not posted here.

Apparently the bike came from Italy, her husband was stationed there.

No, but it has been picked up in NC and is slowly headed west. Thinking this is one of those bikes that looks better in pics and it looks pretty rough!! Oh well....

Yes, finally got it but haven't touched it yet. This winter.
