New From Jersey(with my 1976 honda CB550 4)
« on: August 09, 2008, 04:00:01 PM »
Hi everyone, this is my new little project, always wanted a cafe racer motorbike, so finally found something I really like and think can be "affordable" and a fun little first bike to ride. If anyone here is from philly(where I work) or in the northern part of jersey(where the bike is now being restored by my best friend) be cool to meet some people and learn more and talk to any and all of you. thanks.

Where in NJ?

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Hey Keith, looks like we have way too much in common. I too just bought my first bike, a '76 (same color too!). I live outside of phila and go to school down there. I can't offer much experienced help as I'm just getting my feet wet with the cb scene. Just wanted to wish you good luck with everything. I'll keep an eye out!

Ps where did you get those rear turn signals? They look great.

Hey Mike,

Thats cool that you have the same bike. Theres a guy in town that has a bike very close to yours with the same fading on the tank and I just sold him my rear tail light  as hes trying to keep his original and his was broken. I got the turn signals froma bike shop that my friend worked for. I have to find a bad ground apparently now as I have a converter for LED signals but they still dont blink :-/ good luck with your build too. Is your bike running and all that good stuff then?
