I'm loving every part of this build (just stumbled upon it)

you're killing my future wallet my friend.....I'm JUST about to embark on a hybrid motor build (per Paulages' thread) using 550 cases, 650 bottom end, 750 liners, 836kit, and som serious machining......and now you're making me want to go EFI with it!

I'll be keeping close eye on this. Though, it would be AWESOME for you to make a simple one-post "How-to" for EFI conversion where you mention how you dealt with each of the challenges, where to get/setup base map, what sensors worked best, how to do this & that, etc.

GREAT work!

Thanks retro!

Sinister, there is a thread already going about different challenges of fuel injection. It was started by 750essess.

I will be following your thread. Sounds great!

Your bike is pretty much what I'm going for as well. You are a lot further along however. I'll keep an eye on it to see how it comes along. Great work so far.

well, I have decided that the money that people are asking to make the steering stem will be better spent on purchasing a lathe. SOOOO I am going to pick one up today....

Its an Atlas model 618

I will post pictures on my return....

Thank you for the replies guys. I have been hard at work, unfortunately it has not always been on my bike. I recently opened up my own company and I have been hard at work getting that off the ground. I am pleased to announce that the first parts that I am going to be making will be designed and built for the Honda SOHC 4 CB750's... It is an alternative to the oil pressure gauge adapters that are out on the market currently. I did not want an oil pressure gauge that was sticking out of the side of the bike in harms way so I designed my own and I am now offering them for sale to the SOHC4.net community. Check them out on my website. I am also going to be updating my blog on my website as well. so check that out.

Any updates on your project? I didn't see any updates on your website or Facebook, either. Looking good so far!

Good.  I don't know why, but I get really stressed out when I see casting lines left on project bikes.
Me too, particularly a 'high end custom' (eg, 'Cafe Racer' TV by well known CAR builder)

Well... I unfortunately don't have any new updates to give you all on the CB750... She has become my parts mule for designing parts.

However, I do have a 550 build going on that has yet to have a build thread made for it...

This is how the old girl sits as of late...

And this is the CB550 build that is currently up on the lift. This one is also being used to design parts...

I'm debating if I am going to create a build thread for this.... not sure.

Additionally, I ran into the guys from Dime City Cycles and they have decided to pick up my Oil Pressure Gauge adapters... They are now available on their website!

Justin/Midnight,

You seemed really close to finishing up the fuel injection system.  Did you get to tuning it?

Yes. The bike runs on the fuel injection and runs well... However, the charging system has a problem supporting the new electrical loads... so the next step is to figure out what modern bike I will be pulling the charging system out of to transplant into the CB750...

Then, the trick will be to produce a turn-key, fuel injection kit for the CB750.  The customer line forms here on this forum!
