78k tubes in a 76F????
« on: March 17, 2006, 01:16:08 AM »
Hello to all the 750 gurus out there.  Please enlighten me as I have searched thru the old threads and cannot find a definitive answer.  My 76 750F has longer than stock fork tubes and springs, I have found someone on hondachoppers.com that will swap stock 78K tubes and springs with me.  Will the 78k tubes and springs fit my 76F and will it have the stock ride height?  any and all help will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Yeah mate, go for it, all the CB750's had 35mm fork tubes, so those 78 tubes will work fine on your 76. I've got F2 tubes in my K3, K6 tubes in my K1, (with K3 alloy sliders, you can't swap components between K0-K2 and K3-K8)  and cut down XL350 "chook chaser" (dirt bike) tubes in my F2, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
