Hello everybody,

I'm Marc from France, 46 years old.
I own a cb400four (1978), a cb500four (1971) and ...a suzuki GSX400 (1983) that I use everydays.

At present, I have the project to modify my 500 in a cafe racer, but with a Dunstall style. So I look for parts worldwide before proceeding to the assembly.

It is the way I discovered your website and I think I find here a gold mine  ;)

I'll try to show you picture of my bike and the parts I have found yet.

Thank's by advance for your welcome et please excuse me for my poor english  :-[ But I think I'll progress here  ;D

Welcome Marco.

I believe your English is good enough for all to understand. After being in the Paris traffic and the millions of crazy drivers in all those small cars running around like crazy and the lane splitting motorcycles for 1 night all I will say is all you Frenchmen must be crazy  ;D That makes you perfect to join us.  ;)

Can you show us a photo of your GSX400, my partner rides a 1982 GSX400L......Hush.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

thanks again for your welcome.

I think I saw other frenchmen.

As promised pictures of my bikes, in particular my GSX 400. The 500 four is like I bought it, except exhaust taht I found later. The changes will begin at the beginning of 2011. I don't have all the parts I need. I changed on the 400 four exhaust and saddle.

I don't know if it's a european version. It's a K2 from mid seventies.

Yep that's the same 400, just the road version Marco, the front of the 500 is sitting very high, is that front forks extended or rears collapsed? ;D

Hello Hush,

in fact, I bought my 500 equiped with complete fork, front and rear wheels of a 650 four. The previous owner wanted to make a custom bike. That's the explanation  ;)

I decided to build a Dunstall cafe racer and yesterday I was look a dunstall monohull (Is the correct word ?) My wife's present for christmas  ;D

Nice the pink cruiser  :D
