Just bought a 750 motor on ebay. Shipping was $150 and I had to ship it to my work or some other business with a loading dock. Not sure what carrier he's using. But for what it's worth, FedEX and UPS will not ship anything over 150 lbs.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Used Forward Air for my V4 750 engine, cost about $200 from Connecticut to KC.

I had to pick it up at their location to save a little.

Like cowboy said if you can coordinate with a trucking logistics company you could save more money.

They're pretty heavy, I can just pick one up and carry it across to my workbench. I'm guessing close to 200 pounds. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

PFFFT! Anyone can do that Dave, I can lift a running CB750 with a siddecar attached, with an 18 gallon keg in the boot and with you sitting in the sidecar drinking one of my beers while telling me how fukking strong you are! ;D

Nah, I'm just full of shiit!  ;D (but I really can lift a CB750 engine and carry it across to my workbench, even with my bad back)

It should weigh 200-210 lbs on a small pallet, properly fastened down.
