We're still signing people up. We still need a few Regional Coordinators and some riders for the vast less populated areas. We have some regions I think that could ride tomorrow and others that still need riders. My take so far is Team SE Coastal could probably go with the riders and enthusiasm I see there, next in line is Team SE which probably could use a few more riders before doing any serious planning. Next would be Team SW which is coming together with some serious log distance riders. Up next would be Team California with mycb750K6 reporting a bunch of riders and could probably begin to do some serious planning. After Team CA is that slacker (me) Team Central Rockies which needs UT rider(s) and the coordinator's bike needs to get put together
then KS figured out. Next is Team central and I do believe Don R is putting a good promising team together. BobbyR comes in next with Team Mid Atlantic and from what I gather is doing well with a few holes to work on. Andy750 will have New England covered next with Team E Canada (no coordinator yet) looking fairly good. Team MI seems to have their region in order. Team Northern is looking pretty tight too. Now it starts getting sketchy. Team NW is almost non- existent with a few guys just coming on in southeast SD but ND, MT, WY, Neb being a concern and no Coordinator. The Provinces of MB,SK and AB are a concern currently and even though I have a few leads we'd need more. No Coordinator for W. Canada either. The PNW has a bunch of guys but no one as a Regional Coordinator to ensure it's all pieced together. Sooooooo,
that's the current status without being able to give you a real answer. Once it gets closer to Daytona 200 time then the SE Coastal should take the ball and run with it so Team SE can start serious date planning, etc. Kinda like dominoes falling. We just can't put anything in concrete until it is close but the regions need to have a
basic ride plan in place and be ready for their handoff. Bottom line: We are still bringing more interested riders on board and that needs to continue. We do have some serious holes to bridge.
