WI Blizzard
« on: December 12, 2010, 07:07:23 AM »
Well, it looks like even the Wing will be garaged for a while. This blizzard has been going on since Saturday afternoon. This is Sunday morning and the wind and snow still have not let up. Looks like a white Christmas in WI for sure. Oh, Merry Christmas guys.

Oh, come on John, you're not going to let a little snow stop you, are you?  ;) According to the news, this was a record, single storm for December in Minneapolis. Looks like we will escape most of it, the low pressure system is too far north. Just a few inches of wet stuff.

One good thing with the blizzard Bob is it gave me a chance to get the ears and headlight bucket off this K1 for paint. Now I have to send the wife out to clear the driveway... ;D

Got about 18" just west of Minneapolis. :o  It would be a good day to stay in and work on the bikes if we didn't have to be outside cleaning up snow!

ZZ...I decided to stay with the gold as I like the candy so much. Still have that picture of your green and that is stunning too. But I was thinking of going with a gold stripe on the gold paint like in the picture here.

Well, while everyone in WI was being buried, we were having a little fun in AA this weekend. The first ever outdoor hockey game at U of M stadium against Michigan State. Great game, U of M won (take note Rich Rodrigues, at least someone can beat State) and they set a attendance/crowd record.. 113,000+

We Ann Arborites have to thank you tax payers. You funded a B2 bomber flight from Great Falls, Montana to over-fly the stadium just as the national anthem ended.  ;)

I picked up a 1970 CB750 this summer as a retirement gift to myself.   I am also going to   " GO FOR THE GOLD".  I like the gold with gold stripe. I am planning to go with the black stripe for now.

I guess they won't be playing football in Minnesota. http://msn.foxsports.com/video/shows/nfl-on-fox?vid=ca15cffb-3b66-49a0-84ca-20ed0a175567  If you can get through the commercial it's pretty cool footage.

I'm surprised nobody has posted a link to the Minnapolis dome caving in. Pretty awesome spectacle. We just have 2" of rain in the past 24 hours but it's fairly warm and really soggy.

Apt metaphor for Brett Farve and the Vikings this year.  An epic collapse. ;D ;D ;D  This happened one other time due to snow back when it first opened in the 80's.
