Time and Money
« on: March 22, 2006, 09:19:43 PM »
Time: according to the computor clock thingy, I have spent 4 days on this site. This explains why the progress on my project is less than spectacular.
Money: I find lots of things on e-bay that are shiny and I want.
It costs more to ship them to New Zealand than it does to buy them.
Is this a rip off by the vendor or the shipping companies, I was quoted $48US to ship 4 carb pods.
SOLUTION___ move to the States or just sit at my comp and complain

That's the other thing that gets in the way, my bike is meant to be a winter project, so at the moment most weekends I go trout or salmon fishing, but the high country season ends in a few weeks which will slow my fishing down.

     scunny,
I feel your pain, shipping costs suck! Even over here in the states, shipping can easily cost
more than the part itself. I don't know what to tell you guy. I guess, just hang in there and grit
your teeth when you buy something and have it shipped. We're all suffering on that one.
                                                                            Later on, Bill ;)
