My 12 yr old daughter has been bugging me to help her set up a 40 Gal fish tank we had before we moved to our present house.
It hasn't seen the light of day in 4 years.  Well off to the store today and picked up everything but what I needed. Same crap different project. "I have a ferry ride to deal with so I can't just go back!"

She was real good and cleaned all the parts of the filter systems that were lying around, and I started making sure things were water tight.  One of the filter systems hangs over the back of the tank and needs to be water tight.  After 4 years not so good.

Went to the work shop and found 4 O rings that came with the gasket kit I bought on Ebay for the wife's CL350 restoration.

Not a perfect fit, but with a bit of hand soap, and  wouldn't you know I got it sorted out.

Aren't Bikes great!

Be fun to hear how you guys have used Bike parts to "sort out" other issues around the house.

Same here. I have had real good luck with selling the parts I REMOVE from my bikes, in order to buy NEW parts for the same bike..

I threw a 750 swingarm at a giant 'possum in my backyard two years ago and haven't seen another one since.  God bless those Honda engineers... ;).
