cb550 compression test gauge - adaptor?
« on: December 17, 2010, 08:50:15 AM »
On my way out to pick up a compression test gauge for my cb550.  I seem to recall reading in the past about it being a special size or needing some adaptor, but can't locate that in the search.  Any guidance on if I need something other than a standard gauge?  Thanks.

Most compression gauges that are purchased as a set come with three adapters, including ones for 10,12 and 14mm threads.  If not, you can buy the rubber tipped kind, make sure it is long enough to go into the recess...Larry

The 550 spark plug holes are 12mm threaded.
