I've been a fan of Terry's builds since I saw the 1st photo of Goldie.  For a 'built from parts in my garage', he's set a standard that maybe someday I'll be able to say I got close to.  That blue tank, and overall freshness are truly stunning.  My only word of caution to him - don't every put that tank and covers on Goldie, or your 'herd' will get rustled.

Hmmmnnn, well I do have some of the blue candy paint let over Brian, so, who knows? Maybe a spare paint set for Goldie would be nice for when I get bored? Cheers, Terry.

Thanks mate, and while I'm a "dyed in the wool" 750 buff, I've got a soft spot for CB350F's, I restored one from a 200 dollar wreck back in 1996, and it was a brilliant little bike. Sadly, as I'm 6'4" and nearly 300 pounds, in some states I'd probably be charged with "cruel and unusual treatment of a small motorcycle", and I got tired of being beaten off the lights by Volkwagen Beetles, so I traded it for my lathe.

It's still in "minty" condition, the owner, a Mercedes dealer, keeps it in his lounge room, just so he can look at it, ha ha! Cheers, Terry.

All very nice, but I have to go with Shortround, as cafes are what I'm into. The 400 is a sweet custom machine and the stocker is beautiful but that cafe look is the best. Congrats to all.

P.S. As for touching 'Goldie' that would be sinful, one of the most beautiful bikes I have laid eyes on.

As stated by others, these bikes are gorgeous. Wow, what talent out there.

After staring/drooling over the pics, I gotta go with Kevin, insane attention to detail & design, no disrespect to Terry or Shortround, great bikes too, but you gotta pick only one...

G'Day mate, thanks for that, and yeah, it's a 1972 K2 that I bought as a rolling wreck from a wrecking yard in 1999, and it sat (in small pieces) until October this year. Cheers, Terry.

I have one just like yours, same year, but not in this good condition. It’s currently undergoing a face lift and general upgrade, comming spring it will be up and running

Thanks for all the compliments. It's nice to be recognized by people who know how much work goes into these bikes.  I am also a huge fan of the 750. Thats my go to bike in my garage. i ride it more than the others combined. the 350F weighs just under 225 lbs. its soooooo much fun to ride, and easy compared to my 750. i'm 5'3 so i fit my 350f, but i look like a umpalumpa on my 750.

I look like a giant blob, lol.  but then I am 5'11" and was 255lbs at the time.  Now that I am down to 214lbs, and still going lower, I wonder if I still look like a giant blob.

G'Day Mate, here you go, this is a pic of Goldie, I took it out for a couple of rides yesterday and I have to say that out of all the CB750's I've owned (maybe 30, I can't remember) it's the sweetest of them all. Cheers, Terry.

Thanks mate, the forks and brakes were lifted from a Yamaha FZR1000, on custom machined triples by the previous owner, Ken Piper. I have to be careful riding it after the blue K2, when I grab the front brakes hard on Goldie, it'll lift the rear wheel! Cheers, Terry.

Well thanks Guys, two BOTM winners in one year is a huge thing for me, so I'm stoked! 

I didn't build either with the intention of winning awards, I'm not into "form over function" or building show bikes, I built Goldie for my own use from an essentially very good bike that had been crashed heavily, but had tons of potential, and I built the blue K2 for a young guy I met thru EBay who really wanted a blue K2, and I was only too happy to finish a resto I started over 10 years ago and get another monkey off my back, and to make some more space in my garage.

After selling 3 bikes in the last 3 months, with only 5 complete bikes (and another 3 or 4 in pieces) in my garage I was able to actually work on my K1 yesterday inside my garage, and not out in my driveway in the 100+ degree heat!

I'm building two more bikes in 2011 (maybe 3 if all the bits I need for my K0 materialise....) and while I'm not expecting a nomination for either, this Bike of the Month thing is rather addictive, so I'll have to 'lift my game" now and try to improve my build quality with each bike I build. Just in case.

Thanks again all, my commiserations to Kevin and Shortround, both bikes are beautiful, and deserved to win. Cheers, Terry.
