Yes that feeling of winter came to me a week ago, going out to the car with the wind blowing and scraping the windows...got the 72' 750K fully apart in the basement so it's time to start re-assembly...the '77 Suzuki needs new crank seals so that motor has to come out...actually when I look at winter as project time it's not quite so bad. Hey Demon..

Why don't you blow some of that snow & moisture down this-a-way to Colorado?  Here it is December..and we still haven't had any significant snow or precipitation (@ higher elevations..above 6500 ft yeah..but not here in the "flats" @ 5500 ft.).

Never have been much of a snow person myself (transplant from So. California)..but it's what makes or breaks the following growing season..etc.  I've kinda learned to use the winter/colder months as non-riding..fix-it time also.

Enjoy!

Ichi I'd love to, but first I have to build my shop, our garage is at ambient and my body and hands won't cope, it comes after I finish installing the wood stove and the HRV and pieces for walk-in closet, oh yea and a railing for the basement stairs.
So much for retiring out in the country, drinking beer, fixing old bikes and hurling invective at government stupidities.

Couple inches here near Erin, gentle like.
I am glad we have been spared the dumps that others have gotten, so far, that is.

Ichi,
You sound like a buddy of mine, who just moved away from Denver. Every time I spoke with him he had to tell me how bad they needed rain. The news didn't report "rain", but "moisture".
He called me today from his new place in the Carolina's and was getting a kick out of his first full day of rain in what seemed like forever.

Oh yeah,
We got a couple of inches today, and will likely get 3 or 4 more by tomorrow. The roads will be clear enough, but I doubt I can get the bike to the road for a while :(
